Why should you put your child into Gymnastics?

Gymnastics is widely renowned as a sport that can improve overall fitness, strength, balance and body control (Harrell, 2003), as well as helping to improve athletic performance in any other sport.

Many of the benefits of gymnastics are not related to learning handstands and back flips, although they are a bonus. The major benefits of gymnastics are in the more important developmental areas that will help your child grow into a better student and young adult. Regardless of ability, all children should stay in gymnastics for a minimum of 3 – 5 years to get the full benefit of its teachings.

The cognitive and psychological benefits that you receive from extended participation in gymnastics classes will continue to benefit an individual throughout their life. Many people don’t realise how many benefits an individual will gain from gymnastics classes.

How to get Started?

1. Choose a Springloaded venue near you.

2. Enrol into a class that is suitable for you or your child. There is a class that suits all ages, abilities and skill level. We also have Special Needs classes available. You can enrol online or call your nearest venue to get started.

Trial classes are available for every program and are $15pp per class. Book into a Trial class today.
